FUTURE THIEVES

Nashville’s  Future Thieves are on a roll. The band consisting of Elliot Collett (Vocals/Guitar), Austin McCool (Guitars), Nick Goss (Bass) and Gianni Gibson (Drums) have dropped a series of superb singles in advance of their new album release later this year.

Future Thieves formed in 2013 and have issued two critically acclaimed L.P.s, Horizon Line (2015) and Future Thieves (2018). This radio friendly band blends a smooth Alt pop sound with a tenacious R & B passion. Their songs feature silky vocals with velvety synths and dynamic guitar licks.

The sleek and sexy “1Million” is Future Thieves newest single. It showcases Collett’s rich vocals over R & B flavored synth and bass beats. McCool’s dreamy guitar creates a silky ambiance. The tune is perfect for a ride in the convertible with the top down. Earlier this year the band released “Focus” and “Always Something”. “Focus’s theme is rebirth after a broken relationship. It’s an upbeat mid rocker with a solid backbeat and toe tapping rhythms. The Gibson percussion play and Goss’s concrete bass carry the tune. “Always Something” Future Thieves‘ sweet ballad rounds out the new songs.

Future Thieves‘ last record Future Thieves also yielded a bevy of charted compositions especially “Dark Spin” and “Prom Night”. They also threw out a single in 2018 called “Sucker” which again confirms the band’s ambition to mesh alt, R & B and pop into a singular concoction. And a beautiful mix it is.

Hopefully you can catch Future Thieves live as they are constantly on the road.
