Jordana Lilly is an upcoming actress (Found in Eagle Rock, One More Day)/songstress based in L.A. Lilly will soon be releasing her debut album but in the meantime she has graced us with several impressive singles produced by Jason Aguja.

Her last single, “Twisted Game” is a sultry jazz/ R&B hybrid that wonderfully showcases her strong sexy voice. Her timbre and inflections are quite outstanding and her runs beautiful.

The song starts with a silky low key vocal/piano/horn intro that immediately captures you. As soon as the full ensemble joins Lilly‘s voice becomes forceful and emotional. Your eyes shut and you easily feel her pain and torment. The final crescendo is killer.

Lilly‘s earlier single, “Push & Pull” again focuses on her jazz roots but moves it into a poppier vein with its moody synth and captivating vocals. On another song, “Howl” Lilly starts her lyrics in French and quickly seques it into a rich R&B/pop composition thats both lusty and airy.

In a VoyageLA interview  Lilly stated “As for music, I’ve never NOT had a song in my head. I’ve always been a secret singer of sorts“. She also listed Regina Spektor, Jill Scott, and Emily King as some her pivotal influences.

If Lilly‘s singles are any indication the new album is going to be terrific.
