LOZ CAMPBELL – AN ARTIST SPOTLIGHT AND SINGLES REVIEW

The extraordinary Loz Campbell drops two new singles in late 2024 solidifying her hold as a top notch songwriter, singer, guitarist and all around badass. We have featured Loz several times in the past and after each new release, she totally blows us away. Campbell is a phenomenal artist based out of the UK who has dazzled audiences all over the world with her uniquely raspy voice and her incredible guitar prowess. Her riffs totally shred and her songs deliver torrents of destructive power. Loz Campbell is the real deal and is ready to conquer the world.

Loz‘s latest single is the mid tempo rocker, “Hittin’ The Free Road”. Campbell‘s guitar flairs with brazen determination and supersized emotion. Her vocals are straight forward and edgy. The track has a melodic cadence and dynamic fervency. The bassline is sublime with a groove laden kick. The percussions hammer with indivisible temper. “Hittin’ The Free Road” smacks with a singular spirited character. It’s definitely a winner.

Campbell released “Can’t Get Enough” in May of 2024. The impressive track features an elevated chorus and stimulating guitar riffs. Loz‘s solo is spunky and resolute. Once again, her vocals shine with exuberant authority. Her voice is as immersive as it’s infectious. She knows how to grab onto her listener and knows how not to let go. She emits a gutsy vocal delivery. Every note on “Can’t Get Enough” is spellbinding and adventurous. Steve Pickles handles the bass duties while Tom Kirby is addictive on the drums. Backing vocals is supplied by Laura Moakes. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at Monochrome Productions and produced by the illustrious Tom Gittins.

In addition, the videos for both songs are magnificently composed. They highlight Campbell’s ability to captivate even on film. Well constructed and fun, the videos showcase Loz to the max.

Loz Campbell also provides a blazing live show. Her stage presence is masterful and impetuous. She is known to prowl the stage with her anthemic vocals slaying everything in sight with her pulverizing guitar licks. Whether be it a small club, midsize venue or massive festival, Loz wows them all. Her stomping grooves fill the air with funky vibes and dramatic intensity. Campbell is the real deal. Awesome songwriter and astute guitarist with an immense personality. Definity the makings of a monstrous talent. We are surely looking forward to the new year.
