LUCIAN – ARTIST SPOTLIGHT
Lucian is a creative Los Angeles based producer who has had a vigorous 2020. He has dropped a series of innovative singles and projects that have enveloped a wide spectrum of musical styles. Lucian began writing and producing music in 2016. To date, his biggest releases have been his remixes of Black Coast’s “TRNDSTTR” and Alessia Cara’s “Here” which collectively have amassed over 200 million streams.
In the last few months, Lucian has released three ingenious singles and an amazing collaboration with Rolipso. Like JP on da Track, Lucian incorporates elements of hip hop, electronica, pop and indie to invigorate his musical conceptions. His beats are seductive and sexy while remaining engaging. His rhythmic perceptions are flawless.
In October, Lucian set free two prodigious singles. Teaming up with Seena, “Language” is a slow esoteric piece with a beguiling groove and bewitching vocals. Lucian cleverly intermixes a laid-back jazzy mood with a provocative ambiance therefore establishing the perfect sensual tonality. “Don’t Tell Me” is a dynamic EDM song hat totally entices the listener to get up and dance. The whole vibe is refreshing and upbeat. My only regret is that it’s too short. Another minute or two to enjoy its captivating aura would have been better.
This past month, Lucian released two more songs. “Win or Lose” meshes indie and EDM constructing a cool relaxed flavor. The tune is brought to life by a intoxicating bassline and addictive vocals. Lucian manipulates the musical textures and nuances beautifully. Talking about the song Lucian states: “I would say this song is about chasing a passion/significant other no matter what the obstacles in your way. Persistence being the key driving force“.
“Pull Up Dat” is Lucian‘s latest collaboration with the Berlin based producer, Rolipso. The reggae infused song shows another side of the up and coming producer. It’s light and airy. The beats are impeccably placed and superbly stated. An ideal project to showcase Lucian‘s versatility and cleverness.
These are just a few of the enterprises Lucian has embarked upon this year. He released an enchanting pop E.P. entitled pink and blue with the charming Jade Alice. There are also so many other collaborations and singles. Lucian is definitely a sought after producer. His star will be shining bright for a long while. It’s just a matter of time before he will be an eminent personality in the world of music. Just as famous as Avicii and Diplo.

Nice feature, Ralph, and I like Lucian’s style and sound. I tried checking out his social media links, but they all go to Liberty Music PR, rather than his own personal accounts.
He wants to remain anonymous so all the links go to Liberty. He does have a Facebook page if you goggle it. Glad you enjoyed it.
That’s odd. You’d think he’d want more followers and notoriety.
