Naked Gypsy Queens
Tennessee’s talented quartet, Naked Gypsy Queens have announced the release of their highly anticipated EP entitled Georgiana on February 11th, 2022 via Mascot Records. We last featured NGQ last February when they let go their audacious single “Georgiana”. AMP reviewed the single and had an awesome interview with band. The group is comprised of Chris Attigliato (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Cade Pickering (Guitar), Bo Howard (Bass) and Landon Herring (Drums).
Naked Gypsy Queens have put out their second single from Georgiana. “Down to the Devil” is a raucous blues rooted track full of raw emotions and tension filled riffs. The tune is fast, furious and powerful. Attigliato’s vocals are captivating and savage. The propulsive guitars drop a volley of atomic punches and the backbeat powers through with flame burning dynamics and raw singularity. If these two singles are any indication of the rest of the EP, the world better take cover. NGQ are looking for blood.

The Damn Truth
The Damn Truth have also dropped a new single off their adrenalin-filled third studio album, Now or Nowhere. AMP featured the band in the Blog Post section of the website in June stating: “The Damn Truth straddle that fine line of classic rock and new invention. Even though their music may sound familiar their creativity completely puts a new spin to the hard rock genre“. TDT are Lee-la Baum (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Tom Shemar (Guitar), PY Letelier (Bass) and Dave Traina (Drums).
The new song, “Tomorrow”, is a driving melodic piece full of psychedelic textures and anthemic vocals. Produced by the esteemed Bob Rock, the production values and brazen arrangements are extremely dramatic creating a sonic eruption of aural beauty. The accompanying video (directed by Ariel Levesque and Ben Gelfand) is a visual fun fest with the band taking a magical journey through the many decades of rock and roll.
