SAVAGE AFTER MIDNIGHT – ARTIST SHOWCASE

Savage After Midnight (S.A.M.) are on the rise. After a blistering 2019 with the release of their scorching EP, 11:59, the band is out with a savage single, “Remedy”. 11:59 is a dynamic collection of memorable tunes. It delivered the amazingly brazen hits, “Unleash” and 10 Feet Tall”. The EP catapulted S.A.M. into regular rotation at Sirius XM’s Octane and other major radio stations.  The bands profile proliferated with adds on Spotify, Apple and Pandora playlists. The band was on a major roll.

Savage After Midnight is Shi Eubank (Vocals), Jeremiah Lipscomb (Guitars), James “JT” Thomas (Keys/Vocals), Landon Fox (Bass) and Derek Bjømson (Drums). Their sound is big and bold with monstrous riffs and superlative textures. S.A.M. ‘s music is tenacious and driving yet still masterfully melodic.

Covid had the band hitting pause in 2020 but they have returned hitting harder than ever. S.A.M.‘s new song “Remedy” brings back their former momentum. The song is one edgy intense composition that positions the band on the forefront of today’s metal upstarts. The groove is intoxicating and full of blazing intensity.

Eubank’s vocals are aggressively elevated and pack a gnarly punch. Guest vocalist, Danny Worsnop from Asking Alexandria, adds propulsive accents and his voice fits like a glove. Limpcomb’s guitar wails and captures the perfect tone with freaking awesome licks. The backbeat of Fox and Bjømson is ruthless and divinely relentless. Thomas’s keys adds ideal timbre and imposing flourishes. The entire tune kicks ass. Plus the video is extremely cinematic.

Speaking about “Remedy” Eubank states: “On “Remedy” not only did we get to create with producer Andrew Baylis (Bad Omens, Vrsty) and Jayden Panesso of Sylar – but we were able to co-write with my buddy Jack Fowler of Sleeping with Sirens. The song was sounding amazing on its own, but I felt there was an opportunity to take it a step further. I reached out to another friend and one of my favorite singers Danny Worsnop to feature on the track. What you are hearing is that melting pot and we hope you enjoy it“.

Despite the break in 2020, Savage After Midnight hasn’t missed a beat and “Remedy” has them firing on all cylinders again. Tour dates are being planned for the 2nd half of the year, with additional singles and an EP now in the works. AMP is looking forward to hearing more and more from S.A.M. Their music is just that powerful and engaging.
