The inaugural Capitol Groove was held on the lawn at Bushnell Park June 29 and 30 and in my impression was a rousing success. The music was outstanding, there were plenty of food and drink options, free water stations and port a potties. There was never a long line waiting for any of these choices. The second Sound On Sound music festival was held on Sept. 30th – Oct. 1st at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Ct. The event was a huge success despite the wrath of mother nature. Last year was the initial offering of this festival and even though the music was excellent, the disorganization by the producers left much to be desired. Food and beverage lines were way to long.
