While Tinashe could support a tour on her own with just her instrumentals and vocals, the production of this show elevated this tour to a new and exciting level. Her backup dancers brought an incredible performance filled with cheeky attitudes and contemporary dance moves creating the perfect backdrop for Tinashe’s tour.
While the singer blends R&B and pop-like beats, she organically incorporates her love for electronic house beats into her music. Her latest album, BB/ANG3L, was well received among listeners and critics. In addition, it’s an album that you can truly label as singular. Bringing a breathy voice sound quality reminiscent of Aaliyah, Tinashe delivers a confident, yet intimate experience that you could dance to.
While Tinashe has had many appearances on television (Empire, Dancing with the Stars, Rent: Live), she is also the recipient of many nominations such as BET’s Best New Artist (2014) and taken home awards such as the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards for Music Artist of the Year (2018).

Tinashe is clearly a strong contender in the music scene, however her early discography is worth digging your ears into. Her solo debut mixtape, In Case We Die, was created and released from her home studio back in 2012. She signed with RCA Records shortly after, but left years later due to creative differences. Being at the mercy of a label made decision she couldn’t get behind, she announced their mutual separation in 2019.
Tinashe gives light to an exciting time in music where genres collide to create not just an intriguing sound, but an experience to remember.
