MOMI
Momi is the moniker of singer/songwriter Christianna Colello. She hails from my town of Wallingford, Ct and has recently put out two extraordinary and stunning singles. Momi has been writing music for practically her entire life and her new songs easily display a maturity way past her young years.
“Bandaids” is a delicately fragile tune that gracefully concerns itself with life’s little troubles and the love that can cure them. Momi‘s plaintive voice is tenderly subtle and exquisitely ethereal. Her strumming guitar and atmospheric percussion are ideal backdrops to this wonderfully crafted single. “Taste Your Love” is slightly poppier than “Bandaids” and shows Momi‘s versatility.
Momi which means “pearl” in Hawaiian is an artist who definitely has a bright future.
